2022 BMW S 1000 RR Review Performance and Features

Image
This supersport motorcycle will give riders the rush they've been looking for, with enough technology to make any rider feel like a pro. There are levels to performance. While we all love speed and want the most performance out of our bikes, everything changes when we are looking for our next street motorcycle. Instead of seeking raw power, we start attempting to strike a balance between road-friendliness and performance. BMW has been able to capture this balance perfectly with many of their motorcycles, and the BMW S 1000 XR we recently reviewed is their witness. However, every now and then, this perfect balance is completely thrown out of the window, and the focus becomes about creating a performance monster with no regards to the streets. This was our experience with the 2022 BMW S 1000 RR . After riding it for two weeks, we finally know what this bike is good at, and we definitely know what it’s not. At the top of the list of BMW’s motorcycle lineup, there are two bikes that h...

Honda CBR1000RR-R FireBlade SP Review Features, Specs and Price

Image
The Honda Fireblade rocked the Superbike world when Honda introduced it 30 years ago. And now it’s time to crack open some champagne. For 2022, Honda is producing a special anniversary version of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP , with special graphics. But there’s way, way more than that. Honda have reshaped the engine’s intake ports for higher mixture velocity and to boost midrange performance. A new throttle-return spring increases throttle linearity. Fine tuning Honda HSTC calibration with data from our World Superbike racers makes it even more seamless, and Honda have also made the quick-shift mechanism even quicker, for fewer engine-speed fluctuations. Finally, the front brakes feature new piston materials and surface treatment for better braking under load. All in all, the most awe-inspiring sportbike in Honda lineup is even better this year.  30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION Honda is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Fireblade this year, and have designed a special graphics pack...

Yamaha MT-10 Review Features, Specs & Prices

Image
Yamaha MT-10 is a naked bike version of the Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike. Utilizing the same basic crossplane crankshaft engine but tuned with a bias toward low-end and midrange power, the MT-10 was an instant hit with those riders wanting that same R1 character in a versatile naked bike.  The Yamaha MT 10 was Japan’s first proper super naked and still is. Its looks are divisive, but the way it rides on the road is up there with the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory, KTM 1290 Super Duke R and Ducati Streetfighter V4 S. Having just been refreshed for pretty much the first time since 2016, the new 2022 Yamaha MT-10 is here with more power, more tech, and more fun. The Yamaha MT-10 is one of those bikes that never seems to grow up. You spot them on the road all the time, and with its transformer styling front and centre, it really is a hard bike to ignore. That changes for this year, as the 2022 Yamaha MT-10 gets a big update, with revised styling, tech, and more power. The new 2022 MT-10 get...

Kawasaki Z400 first Introduced in 2019, and received immediate praise for being an approachable, affordable, reliable, but also fun and exciting naked bike. Its sporty character is adopted from the equally popular Ninja 400 with the same 399 c c parallel-twin engine, but the Z pulls its styling from the flagship Z models and implements a more upright riding position. The Z400 shares engine, chassis, and braking components with the Ninja 400. The Z400 is a Ninja 400 with a flat handlebar and no fairings. So the Z400 is a small-displacement naked bike with a more comfortable ergonomic layout than its faired brother.  A fiercely authentic supernaked, the Kawasaki Z400 ABS motorcycle exudes fresh street style and is immediately recognizable in a crowd with a compact chassis and aggressive styling. Comfortable, balanced and capable, the Z400 ABS offers a visceral riding experience that's sure to turn heads. Edgy and minimalist bodywork is a design that inspires sharp styling, dynamic p...
